Excellently staged and you may wisely dialogued, it will have no high difficulty in way of life off its very unappealing identity.” [ 8 ]

While the area observe a common pattern, the characterizations are new while the activities sufficient to overbalance. Dialog was terse and you will relevant, avoiding the emotional, phoney contact. Evelyn Keyes performs the nice nothing lady whom brings about the fresh new finest in your and you may Ellen Drew ‘s the sleek and you can slinky vixen whom gets your with the jams. Thomas Gomez are greasy while the villain and you can Lee J. Cobb really does a separate able journey since the an exhausted cops inspector which finally shuts the outcome.
